Welcome to Auckland, know as the ‘City of Sails’ where you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Today is yours for optional activities. Stay 1 night in Auckland
Day 2 - Auckland - Waitomo - Rotorua
(226 miles/363 kms) (lunch and dinner included) Travel south to the fascinating Waitomo Caves where you will enjoy lunch before a guided tour of the famous Glowworm Grotto and an underground boat ride. Continue on via Lake Karapiro to arrive in Rotorua. Tonight enjoy a unique Maori Hangi (feast) and Concert. Stay 2 nights in Rotorua
Day 3 - At Rotorua
This morning experience the many varied sights that Rotorua has to offer. Visit Te Puia Thermal Reserve and learn about
traditional Maori crafts, before traveling to Rainbow Springs and Agrodome Farm Show. Enjoy an afternoon at leisure.
Day 4 - Rotorua - Queenstown
(flight not included) Fly to Queenstown, the ‘adventure capital’, where you will be transferred to your hotel. Rest of your day is at leisure.
Day 5 - Queenstown - Milford Sound - Queenstown
An early start along the shores of Lake Wakatipu to Lake Te Anau, gateway to the Fiordland National Park. From the Homer Tunnel emerge into the Cleddau Valley. Join your Milford Sound Red Boat Cruise for an unforgettable experience, and explore
the wonder of this majestic Fiord before returning to Queenstown this evening.
Day 6 - At Queenstown
A free day to enjoy the many activities on offer. We have included the Skyline Gondola in your tour.
Day 7 - Queenstown - Mt Cook - Christchurch
(369 miles/594 kms) Travel through the Kawarau Gordge to reach Mount Cook around midday. Pass Lake Tekapo, then north to arrive in Christchurch early evening.
